How much does a removal service cost?
Our prices vary based on several factors including property size, distance, and services required. As a rough guide:

Studio/1-bedroom flat: £350-£550
2-bedroom property: £450-£750
3-bedroom house: £650-£950
4+ bedroom house: £900-£1,500

These are estimates for standard local moves. We provide detailed, fixed-price quotes with no hidden fees. Contact us for a free, personalized quote based on your specific requirements.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance for standard moves, especially during peak times (weekends, end of month, and summer months). However, we understand that sometimes moves happen quickly — we offer same-day and next-day services subject to availability. The earlier you book, the more flexibility you'll have with dates and times.
What happens if something gets damaged?
While we take every precaution to prevent damage, accidents can occasionally happen. If something is damaged during your move:

Report it to us immediately (on the day if possible)
We'll document the damage with photos
Our insurance covers repairs or replacement
Claims are processed quickly and fairly

Are you insured?
Yes, absolutely. We carry comprehensive goods-in-transit insurance that covers all items during your move. We're fully licensed and compliant with UK removals regulations. Every move is protected, giving you complete peace of mind. If you have particularly valuable or sentimental items, we can arrange additional insurance coverage — just let us know during your quote.
Do you provide packing materials?
Yes! All our standard and premium packages include packing materials at no extra cost — boxes, bubble wrap, protective blankets, tape, and labels. We'll bring everything needed to pack your belongings safely. If you prefer to pack yourself, we can also supply materials in advance for a small fee, or you're welcome to source your own.
Can you move items into storage?
Absolutely. We offer short-term and long-term storage solutions in our secure, climate-controlled facilities. Whether you need storage for a few days between moves or several months, we can accommodate you. Your items are catalogued, protected, and accessible whenever you need them. Storage costs depend on the volume and duration — contact us for a quote.
What items can't you move?
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:

Hazardous materials (petrol, gas bottles, chemicals, paint)
Perishable food
Plants (for long-distance/international moves)
Illegal items or weapons
Items without proper documentation (for international moves)

We can move most everything else, including pianos, antiques, and fragile items with proper care. If you're unsure about a specific item, just ask — we'll let you know if we can handle it.
Do I need to be present during the move?
It's helpful to be present at the start and end of the move, but you don't need to be there the entire time. At the beginning, we'll do a walkthrough and confirm the plan. At the destination, you'll need to direct where items should be placed and sign off on the delivery. If you can't be present, you can arrange for a trusted representative (family member, friend, or property manager) to be there on your behalf.
How long does a typical move take?
This depends on property size, distance, and access:

Small flat (local): 2-4 hours
2-3 bedroom house (local): 4-6 hours
4+ bedroom house (local): 6-8+ hours
Long-distance moves: Same day or next day depending on distance

We'll give you a time estimate with your quote. Factors like parking restrictions, stairs, and disassembly requirements can affect timing, which is why we do a thorough assessment beforehand.
Can you disassemble and reassemble furniture?
Yes, this is included in our standard service. Our team will disassemble large furniture items (beds, wardrobes, dining tables) at your current property and reassemble them at your new location. We bring all necessary tools and take care to keep track of screws and fittings. If you have flat-pack furniture or particularly complex items, just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
